CR84FN20

I'm playing along with CR84FN Color Challenge 20 this week. Here's the graphic using plum, lavender and green as the main colors.

I stamped the lilac stamp set from Kitchen Sink Stamps using various colors of plum, lavender and green inks. I cut the image out with a Spellbinder die and used my airbrush to distress the edges of the image. I ran my base cardstock through my Cuttlebug with a CB folder and distressed the raised portions using a sanding block. The dp is from Memory Box and I punched some butterflies from the same paper line and added bling to them. For the final touch, I added the green ribbon. Just love CR84FN color challenges!

i{heart}2stamp Monthly Challenge

Here's this month's sketch challenge at i{heart}2stamp. You can dress this sketch up or down and since I have limited tools and supplies, this was the perfect sketch challenge for me to participate in. Once again, I used Impression Obsession's "Change the World" stamp set. The dp is Minuet from Memory Box. I colored the main image with markers and since the main image is so large, I didn't have room to put a sentiment on the face of the card. This is a very fun sketch and will definitely use in the future. Grass is turning green here but wait until I arrive at home next week to several inches of snow on the ground:(

Thinking Spring!

I recently bought this stamp set on my travels. It is from Impression Obsession and is called "Change the World". (Just love IO's stamps!) I have very limited tools while I'm away from home - not even a punch so everything is cut with my small paper cutter. I colored the main image with markers and the dp is from Memory Box called Minuet also purchased on my explorations of stamp/scrap shops. I can only hope for spring when I return to Wisconsin next week!

Plane and Simple

Here's another card I created with the Plane and Simple set from SU. Was only able to use the simplest of supplies since I'm traveling. My husband is a pilot so thought this would make a great birthday card for his birthday next month.

Plane and Simple

Here's my helper today as I'm attempting to take pictures of my cards.

This card and the previous are using the new SU set Plane and Simple. I'm traveling and do not have my Cuttlebug, folders or dies available so down to using basics. Purchased some paper, ink and brads at Hobby Lobby and Joann's. The plain cardstock is Bazzill but not sure the name of the dp. Cut off the edge and threw out before looking at it....sorry.
