Happy Birthday to my Stamping Sister, Phyllis

Although a little early:)

The card base is white cardstock folded to 4-1/2 x 6-1/2.  Gossamer paper from Memory Box was cut to the same dimensions and adhered to the card base.  The Fancy Lattice is from Spellbinder's and cut to the same size and sponged with Spun Sugar Distress Ink.  All three birds are Martha Stewart punches.  The sentiment is from Inky Antics and cut with Spellbinder's Labels 11 and sponged with Spun Sugar and popped with dimensionals.  Hope that Phyllis has a great birthday when her special day rolls around!

An Early Happy Birthday, Marie!

I made this birthday card for my stamping friend, Marie.

With the use of Memory Box dies, the card is pretty easy.  I cut the Debutante Frame from white cardstock creating the base card.  I then cut My Mind's Eye Paris & Co. paper with the same frame and adhered to the base.  The top die is Orchard Tree.  Prima flowers were added to the branches.  The sentiment is from All Night Media.  Again, have a great day Marie!

Stamp Club Challenge

Here's my card for this month's stamp club challenge.  The main image is from Memory Box and I colored the poppies with Copics and cut with Spellbinder's circle die.

The sentiment is from Flourishes and cut with Spellbinder's Labels Four.  Both pieces were sponged with Pumice Stone Distress Ink.  This is my very first time to use washi tape!  Hard to see in this photo but the red cardstock was embossed with a SU folder.  Look forward to seeing my stamping friends again after a couple months absence.

Karen's Birthday Card

Happy Belated Birthday, Karen!

It was my friend, Karen's, birthday on the 31st but we didn't get together until today to take a class together and share a birthday lunch.  Several months ago, I borrowed Karen's Grand Calibur and dies to create the the "wings".  I cut the die in half and taped to the back of a square card base.  I used white cardstock on the entire piece except for layering the sentiment on the front.

I sponged various green inks on the white cardstock and stamped the leaf stamps from Prickly Pear.  The inside sentiment is from Hero Arts.

The front sentiment is from Just Rite along with the stamped border.  A fun card to make for a great friend!
