CR84FN25 Color Challenge

Love this color combo this week from CR84FN so had to play along. The colors are red, aqua and white.

I chose to use the new HoneyPOP stamp set from Inky Antics and this particular set is called Cupcake Birdy. I colored the image with copics and die cut the image with the Small Circle set from Spellbinders and die cut the layered red cardstock with the Lacey Circles. The aqua cardstock was embossed with a Cuttlebug folder but the name of the folder is not printed on the folder and I don't remember the name....sorry. The designer paper is some unknown paper given to me in a grab bag and the tag die is one of the new Fancy Tags from Spellbinders.

And.....this is the fun part! The honeycomb paper you stamp, cut and mount on the inside of the card so when you open it....voila! I think I will give this card to one of my granddaughters who will be celebrating her birthday in June. I'm typically not into cute but couldn't resist these stamp sets and paper from Inky Antics to make cards for my grandchildren. Hope you're having a great spring weekend!

Stamp Club Sketch Challenge

This is my take on the sketch challenge for our stamp club in May. Unfortunately, I don't have the sketch to post. We are to make a male birthday card. The main image is from Cornish Heritage Farms which is no longer in business:( I colored the image with copics. The dp is from TAC and no longer available. (Can you tell I hang onto everything even if it's old!) I distressed the edges of the dp. The sentiment is also from TAC. I always enjoy seeing everybody's take on the challenge for the month at our stamp club.

Stamp Club Challenge

Here's my take on this month's stamp club challenge at The Stamp Shoppe (link on my right side bar). The DP is from Little Yellow Bicycle as is the trim. The flower die is Tim Holtz's. The punch is from Martha Stewart. I love the color gray and just about any color with it! Have a great Easter.

Karen's Birthday

I have been so lax in posting to my blog! Here's a card I made for my friend Karen whose birthday was the end of March. The stamp is from Hero Arts and stamped in black Versafine ink on one of Basic Grey's new paper. The Spellbinder die is one of the Fancy Tags stamped with gold embossing powder. If anyone is interested in the names of some of the products, please leave a comment and I will look up the information since I forgot to make a note of it.....sorry.

Just had to post a few pix of a grandkids. Here's Qwinten celebrating his 5th birthday (actually tomorrow). He's the oldest of our five grandkids and it seems he was just born!

And here's his little brother, Xavier, celebrating his 1st birthday. Just love his dark, curly hair. He surprised us on his birthday
with walking!

And had to post this picture of Piper in her cute hat. She will be two years old June 30th.
