Masculine Birthday

I found this cool new stamp from Memory Box and just had to have it!

My good friend Karen showed us how to do the chalkboard technique at the Madison Mingle this year so I had to try it out with this new stamp.  This technique is all over the blogs so had to post it on mine, too:)  Hope it's sunny and warm where you are.....certainly not here!

Hero Arts Poppies

I somewhat CASE'd this card from Pinterest.  Think the only thing I changed out was the color of the poppies.

The image is a reverse solid stamp which I stamped in gray ink on white card stock and then colored with Copics.  I added black pearl pen to the centers of the two flowers.  The sentiment is from Endless Creations and stamped on vellum.  This is such a lovely stamp from Hero Arts and very versatile.

Butterfly Birthday

I've been playing with this newer stamp from Hero Arts and really like its versatility.

This is a one layer card which I hardly ever make:)  I typically create two to three layers (or more) to make a card.  I stamped the Hero Arts image in Versamark ink and embossed with white detail embossing powder.  The die cut is Wonderful Wings from Spellbinders cut from designer paper.  The sentiment is from Endless Creations and stamped on vellum.  Added a little bling and done.
