Funeral Warehouse - Bridge Card

Happen to come across two more bridge cards I had yet to post so here's one of them.  I will also be sharing this post over at Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes.

I've had too much fun creating these bridge cards for my grandchildren.  I have so many Halloween dies and these cards are a great way to use them.  The various dies are from Tim Holtz, Spellbinders, Karen Burniston, and Little B.  The base card stock happens to be my favorite this fall from Gina K called Tomato Soup😉  The designer paper is vintage from Basic Grey.  The sign on the bottom of the haunted house says "Funeral Warehouse" and is from Tim Holtz's Ideaology collection of sticker sayings.  Love, Love 'em!  I'll be posting a few more Halloween cards over the next few days since Halloween is almost here....and it is my favorite holiday!

Frightful....in Blue!

Halloween is my favorite holiday to craft!  I will be posting this card over at Simon Says Monday Challenge - Monochromatic.  This was a fun card to create with mostly Stampendous products along with distress inks and copics.

The stamp is from Stampendous and stamped in black Memento ink onto gray card stock.  I then colored the image in blue-violet copics.  The edges were distressed and then inked with distress ink.  The corners were created with Stampendous's melt art using their ultra thick embossing powders and glitters in black and blue.  The bat metal piece is from Tim Holtz's ideology line with black glitter paper glued behind it.

BOO! Hey, it's October!

Here's another bridge card!  I'm entering this in Simon Says Wednesday Challenge Anything Goes.

The boo sentiment is from Tim Holtz along with the bats, the trees and graveyard are from Karen Burniston and the trio background is from Penny Black.  

Vanishing visitors....

Another bridge card to post.  I love all things Tim Holtz so I am submitting this card to Simon Says Monday Challenge since they are featuring Tim Holtz Halloween.

See my previous post for dimensions.  The designer paper is vintage from Basic Grey.  Dies are from Tim Holtz Trick or Treat set, Haunted House set, and Ideology Halloween Clippings.  The "bridge" haunted house is from Memory Box and the trees from Karen Burniston.

In this photo, you can see that it will fold flat and fit into an A7 envie.  Will have more bridge cards to follow!

Sometime in the middle of the night....

I have had tons of fun making several "bridge cards" for my grand kids.  The overall piece measures 5-1/4" x 9-1/4" and will fit into an A7 envelope when folded flat.  My friend, Karen, also posted a bridge card (and she may have detailed info listed in her post) and her bridge card will fit into an A2 envelope.  I will also be sharing this card over at Simon Says Wednesday challenge.

The base card is black and the designer paper is from Authentique's 2017 Halloween collection.  The tree die is from Karen Burniston's Halloween 2017 die collection.  The ghost and graveyard dies are from Tim Holtz (Sizzix) 2017 collection and the fence die is vintage from Spellbinders.  The pumpkins are washi tape from Little B.  Oh....and can't forget the type words from Tim's Ideology Halloween collection!

As you can somewhat see from this angle, the card will fold flat.  What a great way to use all those dies we collect!  And forgot the bats!  Smaller bats are from Tim Holtz's Haunted House and the larger bat from Karen Burniston.

Shine with all your color.....

Friends and I recently got together and created images with Bisters, Brushos and Color Burst.  Our friend, Gail, is a watercolor expert so I really appreciated her input!  I'm also submitting this card at Simon Says Wednesday challenge.

On watercolor paper, I stamped the flower stamp from Dare 2B Artzy with Versamark ink and white embossing powder and heat set.  I then watercolored the image and around the image with Color Burst.  I also over-stamped the watercolor piece with an unknown source word stamp in Versamark ink and white embossing powder.  The sentiment is hard to to read but it is the stem of the flower and reads "shine with all your color"!  I added a few sequins and layered onto coordinating cardstock.

Butterfly and Gelli Print

Friends and I recently got together to spend the day creating with Gelli prints.  Haven't worked with my Gelli plate in a long time!  Had fun experimenting with paints and inks and everything in-between!  I will be submitting this card to the August challenge at Craft Stamper Magazine.

The Gelli print was created using various colors of acrylic paints on old printed book pages.  Once dry, I then came back with a stencil from Simon Says Stamps (hearts) and sponged with Nuvo Mousse.  In black ink, I then stamped the butterfly and sentiment images from Visual Images.  The flower stamp is from Lavinia Stamps.
