Note Pad Holders

Joyce, from our stamp club, shared this wonderful idea for a note pad holder at one of our recent meetings. I found these lovely file folders at one of our office supply stores and just had to alter them to hold note pads. The finished size measures 6-1/2 x 8. I cut the flowers with Spellbinder's Flower Creations. A few more Christmas gifts checked off my list!

Kaboodle Doodles Challenge #41 - Autumn Love

I typically don't play along with challenges but Kaboodle Doodles tripped my trigger with their challenge for fall colors. My favorite time of the year using my favorite colors! The base cardstock is Bazzill and the dp is BasicGrey. I cut the border with one of Spellbinder's autumn borders and the tag is embellished with rub-on's from BasicGrey. I stitched around the border of the dp. Fun colors!

Color Throwdown Challenge

The color throwdown challenge this week is using kraft, so saffron and chocolate chip. The stamped image was loaned to me and I don't remember the company name....sorry:( The base cardstock is Bazzill and I cut the framing with Spellbinder's Labels Four along with the stamped image. I also don't know the name of the dp since it was also provided with the stamped image.....again:( The bird punch is from Martha Stewart Crafts.

Bonjour!

This is a totally Stampin' Up card - well, almost. I made a set of cards for a friend with a French theme and this is one of my creations. The base cardstock is Bazzill but the dp is SU as is the stamp. I added two different ribbons over the dp strip along with some bling and it's done!

Engaged!

I sorted through my cards recently as I was donating several cards to OWH (Operate Write Home) and came across this card I made several years ago and just had to post. The stamp is from The Stampin' Place in Minnesota and don't even know if it is available any more. Just a fun and cute card for anyone recently engaged. Our two children have been married for some time and we have five grandchildren so I think an engagement card is beyond my use:)

Time for Sunflowers

This image from Hampton Art Stamps has been in my repertoire forever. I colored the image with copics and then cut and embossed with the large oval Nestability. I airbrushed the edges with a copic. The based cardstock is from Bazzill and the dp is from BasicGrey's Origin collection. The punch is from Martha Stewart Crafts.

Now time to play with a PSX sunflower image. As you can tell from my blog header, I love sunflowers and years ago, had them in my garden.
